Everyone wants to go on the summer family vacation of their dreams. Whether it’s you and your partner, with your kids in tow, or if you’re joining us with additional friends and family on the road. Finding the right summer destination that is both family-friendly and affordable, isn’t always as easy it should be. You want a destination that is quiet and comfortable with plenty of activities that everyone can take part in during any downtime. With some much to do during the day, you want to come back to the comfort of your RV and relax for the rest of the evening.
That’s what draws thousands of guests in from every corner of the country for a summer at Wekiva Falls.
Taking a summer RV road trip is a dream for many. Who wouldn’t love to hit the open road, sleep in new campsites and explore the country? It can’t get much better! If it’s your first time RV camping, getting to your destination is half of the fun, but what will you do after you park at the campsite? That’s where the rest of your adventure begins!
Weliva Falls offers the perfect summer getaway for friends and family.
You can post up at one of over 40 nearby Tiki Tables around the oval to enjoy a lunch with friends and family. We also have 22 Canal Tables that run directly alongside the spring and up to the marina. These picnic areas are ideal for people who want to share a meal in comfort while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. They are available first come, first serve so don’t wait! And if you want to bring additional seating, a grill, or canopy tents to the canal area, please feel free to!
If you love to fish, then Wekiva Falls just might become your new favorite place. Our waters are stocked with bass, tilapia, perch, and so much more! Fishing is great right from the banks of the marina or you could take a canoe out into the river. Please note that Wekiva does require a fishing license for Residents and Non Residents as per the following guidelines; Residents and Nonresidents who are 16 years of age or older are required to have a Florida Fishing license. If a person is 65 years of age or older, they are NOT required to have a fishing license if they are a Florida Resident. Oh, and remember to bring your bait and tackle box!
On the weekends, our resident DJ keeps the party going with all hits that span the generations. Our resident DJ also leads our kid-favorite Oval Games, a variety of fun and safe water games. There’s plenty of activities for our adults too, including pickleball, shuffleboard courts, cornhole and more.
And every Saturday morning from 9 to 11 am, join us for a delicious Pancake Breakfast! For just $5 and under your breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee. It’s the perfect way to start the day when you just don’t feel like preparing breakfast.
So park your RV, pitch your tent, or stay in one of our upcoming park homes. One summer at Wekiva Falls and you will be back for again and again.
We call our pool The Oval, and it is the centerpiece of our summer experience. Families love to splash in our cool waters and play under our 360-degree concrete waterfall. Next to the waterfall are twin water slides that everyone loves. Nearby, our natural spring cuts a path directly through the center of a park. You can float all the way out to Wekiva River right from our beaches. Speaking of, we have a beautiful beach for you to stretch out under an umbrella, work on your tan, or just enjoy the fresh air in lounge chairs on our cement deck.
The best part about summer at Wekiva? DJ Jim Dandy! He is featured Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Don’t forget to send the kiddos (or the whole family!) down to our new activities director, Stefanie Colon, to enjoy some fun water games!
Grab one of our Tiki Tables around the oval (we have 40 of them!) to enjoy your day! We also offer 22 Canal Tables running from the spring to the marina. These picnic areas will keep you comfortable all day long. They are available first come, first serve. You are welcome to bring your own tables, grills, canopy tents etc!
Chances are you have already read about the Marina & Tiki Bar, but what you might not know is that we rent canoes (3 seater and two seater options) and kayaks (single person kayaks). There is nothing quite like cursing along Wekiva River; you get a front row seat to all the Florida wildlife. Guests also love to bring their standup paddleboards to Wekiva River.
Pickle ball and Shuffleboard Courts located by the clubhouse.
Join us in the clubhouse on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 11 am for a delicious Pancake Breakfast! Prices are $5 and under, and the breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee. Please note that prices on meals may vary based on what is being served.
